[Free Game] Fizz Filler - Now Available on WP7/8

Hello fellow WP Centralians! I'd just like to let you all know I've released my second game on Windows Phone 8. It took just over 1 month to make and lots of hard work, but its finally here.

The objective of the game is simple, fill as many drinks as you can to earn as much money (coins) as you can. You can then spend all of your hard-earned money on some upgrades to improve the value of your drinks to help you make money even faster, or you can upgrade the speed of your production lines to get drinks out faster, and again make money faster!

The game ad-supported, which means it is 100% free to play and includes no in-app purchases of any kind.

A few things to come in the near future (not a complete list):

• Leaderboards
• More upgrades!
• Hard Mode ? having to upgrade each conveyor/line separately
• Windows 8/8.1 Version

The game is pretty great! Thanks, but does it ever end?

I'm pushing lvl50 on the upgrade screen and it still doesn't end.

As of version 1.1 there are a type of optional endings, but no true endings yet. That is one of the things I want to add to the game in the near future, but right now I'm working on fixing any remaining bugs that people reported. After that however, new features will be coming. :smile:

Just a quick post to let everyone know how Fizz Filler is doing!

Since I first posted here there has been several updates to fix several bugs, fine-tune existing features and even add a few new features.

[Free Game] Fizz Filler - Hard Mode!

Hello fellow WPCentralians,

Update 1.3 has been released for Fizz Filler, which brings hard mode to the game!

Unlike the standard game-mode, you start with just a single conveyor and must buy the other 2 conveyors to start producing drinks from them. On top of that, each conveyor must be upgraded separately, which means it'll take you longer to reach wildest dreams (of swimming in coins!).

Conveyors are now numbered, making it easier to identify which one you're buying upgrades for in the shop, which has also had a small re-work to make it possible to easily switch between conveyor upgrade lists, without you actually having to leave the shop page.

Here is the full list of changes in 1.3 for anyone who loves change-logs:

• Added Hard Mode
• Added new artwork for fusion upgrade
• A faster and more robust save format
• Conveyors are now numbered
• Event messages now pause the game correctly
• Fixed positioning of tabs on help menu
• Resetting now returns you to the main menu
• Updated how to play instructions
• Fixed incorrect display of time played on ticker

Lastly, a bit of a side-note. If you haven't tried the WP8.1 developer preview yet, I recommend it. Its truly awesome!

I've just finished and released a new patch for Fizz Filler. Lots of bugs fixed. :smile:

Change log:

• Fixed bought upgrades sometimes registering twice in classic mode
• Added news feed to menu ticker
• Hard mode shop shows selected conveyor in the background
• Fixed graphical glitch with floaty text
• Fixed lifetime stats sometimes not saving after resetting
• Fixed random saving corruption when exiting the game (finally!)
• Fixed freezing when returning to the game after minimizing
• Fixed saves sometimes being corrupted after closing

Many of these fixes are a side effect of working towards making the code more reusable across different platforms, most notably Windows 8/RT.

Due to popular request, the game is now available for Windows Phone 7!

Patch 1.3.3 has also been released to address several bugs. Here is the change list:

• Added Danish localization
• Added splash screen
• Reduced data usage
• Fixed maligned floaty text icon
• Fixed bug where drinks gave more money than normal
• Fixed large numbers being cut off on the stats screen
• Fixed conveyor numbers not showing after loading
• Fixed bug where the wrong mode sometimes started
• Fixed upgrade purchase sound not playing
