Free Goodies From Nokia

So I walked into my local Microsoft Store today looking to upgrade to an Icon. I had an 822 in one pocket and my current 928 in my holster. I'd put the SIM into the 822 in order for it to be on my Verizon account, so I could exchange it rather than the 928 on the Edge plan. :wink:

I ended up not getting the phone there, as Microsoft can't do the Edge program. :straight:

But while I was there, there were two Nokia reps there, and they handed me a few goodies. Three pairs of sunglasses (because I told them I have a Lumia, my wife has one, and my step-daughter has one), and a Nokia portable charger. Not a bad deal for a trip to the store where I didn't buy anything!


BTW, I'm getting the Icon tonight after work. I stopped at a Verizon store nearby work, and they only had black. The closest white one is at a store not too far from home, so I'll head there after work. They've already set the phone on top of the safe and put my name on it.

Yes, I own stock. Picked up 100 shares at $2.57. Only regret that I didn't have more money at the time.

My wife says the glasses look terrible on me, and I'm not allowed to wear them.
