Free unlimited 4g/lte

Will I get this?
I use the old subscriber "soft unlimited" 5GB prepaid deal @ 30 a month.
I've run up the data to over 5 gig just to see what happens and nothing seems to change with LTE speeds.

It's takes a lot for me to use 5 gig with regular use.
Netflix movies gobble data though :)

Only for a select few and will expire at the end of the year, don't count on being selected unless you are postpaid.

I used to be on that plan, but T-Mobile's service is so poor where I live that I could never get anywhere close to using 5GB. And it's not like I don't use data. I now have a Verizon unlimited data plan. There are 8 days left in this month's billing cycle, and I've used over 54GB so far.

I wonder what the point is of this promotion. When a carrier does something like this, for some reason it arouses suspicion! Although, T-Mobile doesn't fit in the typical carrier mold.

We get steady coverage here under T-Mobile.
I find LTE very reliable around town.

Weird thing is even on other carriers here at the house coverage drops and I know of three towers close by here.

Tear down those lead-lined walls, the Cold War is over. :winktongue:

It's a known issue with TMO using the 1700/2100 bands that penetration into buildings can be problematic.

Our place has a lot of large windows (hee-hee Windows)
Sometimes I wonder if the Union Pacific comm tower has something to do with the poor in house signal here.
I see some of our surrounding neighbors standing out front to use their phones too.
We've even had problems with older regular wireless land line phones.

My guess is we're sitting on an old nuclear waste dump site :)

I finally got fed up with T-Mobile and their spotty coverage in the outskirts of Orlando. I moved into a new house where my T-Mobile signal was nonexistent. Only signal I had was Wi-Fi calling. I upgraded my wife's aging 521 to an AT&T Lumia 635 & kept my unlocked 925 to AT&T. I get full LTE coverage everywhere I go on both our phones coverage never drops below three bars of LTE even out in the country where I live. My wife and I share 3 GB of data with rollover data for $84/month+ tax. I was with T-Mobile for over four years with hit & miss coverage. I wish they would've blessed me with unlimited data but alas I've moved on.

I have absolutely no more issues getting full service in a building where I used to have to rely on Wi-Fi and a texting app. You would be surprised. I was fully expecting to have to use Wi-Fi calling when I was last there in January, but much to my surprise, it was totally unnecessary.
