From Light Senor Question

While on phone calls i use the phone and other apps a lot but whenever i move my hand over the front light senor it goes black and back to the phone call when i move it away. Is there a way to turn this off it is annoying as can be.

I don't think you can turn that off, but is it doing this when you are on speakerphone? I don't think that would be normal operation.

Whenever i have my headset on, it doesn't do it when it's on speaker phone.

Well that is normal. I would guess that any touchscreen phone you'll find does that without the ability to disable it. Otherwise when you put your phone up to your face to talk you would start manipulating controls on the screen.

That is true but my iphone did not do that.

I think it was broken then. Mine did, but then again I haven't had one since November of 2010.

The iPhone has had a proximity sensor issues since I think the 3GS but maybe before. It does, by design, turn off the display the same as Windows Phone.

Oh ok maybe my iphone 3gs was messed up then.
