Hi all,
I ordered some screen protectors that do not cover the whole screen (they don't go all the way around the left and right edges of the screen's curve). From what I am reading, this is pretty common.

Has anyone found any screen protectors that cover the full screen...side curves and all?

Thanks in advance!

You can always get the universal screen protectors. They sell 'em at Radioshack. They're bigger than the screen. So you'd actually have to cut to fit.

my screen protector i got from ebay covers the entire glass screen, back, and sides. only cost me $3.99 shipped!

Happen to have a link or product name?

Your friend has this? I've never done a "Wet" cover before; was it tough to do? How long has s/he had it on the phone?
My biggest curiosity is why they say to have the phone off "Overnight".

The only SP you will find that will fit the entire screen will the 'Wet Install' kind. and ALL wet install SP have the same side effect of 'orange peel', and I now a few will say they don't notice, or is not noticeable with the screen on, but still noticeable and annoying. Just take care of your phone and enjoy the smoothness of the glass.

She told me its wasn't tough. When I did it for my phone, I must have used every swear in the book. So if you can. Get a girl to apply it for you. There have petite hands. She had it for 2 months. For my phone's SP there was a spray solution that needed to be applied for the process. And I have never seen this " orange effect " . I don't see it on phone's screen. I peeled that SP back before and saw just a clean screen. But I have a skinomi SP.

I'm not even sure I get the verbiage of "Orange Peel" effect. Do you mean it becomes kind of rough like an orange peel?
As for just going naked with the glass, I did for a while and there are a few small, faint scratches on the left-side of the screen near the "bend" of the screen, so I guess it is time for an SP.

I looked into those Skinomi covers; how do you like it? Does it cover your full screen?

Yes it covers the entire screen. However once you spray the SP it becomes kind of loose and could be a pain to apply. So yeah find a girl with petite hands to do it for, it will save a lot of hassle and frustration. The SP feels different from most others. Its kind of soft or maybe I should say thick. So if something hard scratches the SP, it doesn't actually scratch. It kin of bends or dents it. There is no damage to the screen.

Bestskinsever.com, been using them for years. Wet install, but it really works. Mine comes tomorrow...

The zagg I got as a warranty replacement said it had a new glossy finish, it is much less "orange peel" and feels less "sticky" then the one I got from at&t. It is also a Dry Install, super easy to put on :)

It seems to me to definitely be an upgraded version of the zagg kit at&t sells.

Not true at all, just because it's a wet install does not mean it will have a orange peel affect. I've got the Extremeguard pureview and there is absolutely no orange peel whatsoever. Two of them cost me $3 including shipping, can't beat it for the price.

can you post a picture of the phone with the screen off and at a 45 degree angle in good light?

Thanks

No need for the phone to be off or at a 45 degree angle. I'm using the XtremeGuard full body and it's apparent but not as bad as my previous Best Skins Ever or Skinomi on my Focus. I can't see the orange peel until I get up close to it or once the screen is on so that is fine with me. Here's some pics that I posted in another thread: https://skydrive.live.com/pagenotfounderror
