Gallery not showing separate folders for camera and whatsapp pics

Samsung Galaxy:
Previously I could see all photos taken by camera in folder called 'camera' and photos from whatsapp in 'whatsapp images' (or videos) folder.
Now only whatsapp pics are showing, none from camera and the layout when opening gallery, shows 'pictures', 'albums', 'stories' and none of them contain camera pics (only google photos shows them).
Wat can I do?
