Gameloft conned me!!!

I got Modern Combat 4 and NOVA 3 free as part of the 1520 promotion. I had all of my apps on my SD card but after updating my 1520 to 8.1 update 1 my phone had to re-download all of my apps. It didn't download the gameloft games and when I go into windows phone store>my apps I find the gameloft games are in there with a message saying not available for my device. When I search the store and find the games, it's available but I have to purchase the games. What's the deal with that?!? I already had the game. Why should I have to purchase what I already had as part of the promotion?
