This Game's Room stuff is, so far, complete and utter BULL****... (PS. are there rules for swearing here?)
These games are typically the sort of product you find in $10-20 bundles packed with 20-50 games or something. Paying $3 for them is outrageous, and so is buffering the release list of Live Arcade titles with them. They should not be part of the same line of releases. Worse, there is no overarching application to play with and manage the Game's Room titles like there is in the 360. So they just get lumped randomly with all your other games.
I can understand the novelty of playing these titles off and on, but not for the current asking price. Especially when touch screen controls are far from the ideal precision required to reach a decent high score, and the games games can be found with far better deals elsewhere.
I don't know about everyone else, but this is far from what I anticipated would become a highlight of the WP7 platform in terms of gaming. I'm excited for titles like Angry Birds and Hydrothunder Go!, but someone is badly hindering the development of the phone as a companion to the xbox.
