Hold power button, volume up, and camera button, all three until vibration after windows phone screen, then let go of power button only, continue holding volume up and camera buttons. After next vibration let go of other two buttons, you should now have download mode screen. Hope that helps.

Thanks fot the tip. Didn't think of holding the camera and volume up key AFTER the vibration too as that isn't how things work in Samsung's android phones.

Don't give up easily. Honestly, it doesn't need a driver for Windows OS. MTP usb driver should be ready in Windows OS.
Is it not working since the very first day? If not, I would remove the existing USB driver in the device manager and let it re-install again.
I have tryed that several times.
