Yes, the update will arrive for your phone whenever it's ready to be updated
It's checking updated some times a week (Not so sure), and then notifies you, but you can check for updates manually in the settings menu.. And just wait for your phone to be ready!

Has anyone received OTA ? Last time I tried to update via NCS my phone never came back. I got replacement for it though. So I am not that willing to try.

I do not think the OTA for the phones have arrived yet, probably in the next upcoming weeks.

So... do you guys have any idea on how long usually OTA becomes available after NCS shows the update? I'm thinking if reflashing is worth it or its better to just wait for the ota..

Not sure, as it is up on the servers I don't know if that's ment to be for carriers to test, not sure how it works! I'm going to flash mine now anyway, I'm a risk taker lol

The only difference is that you lose your data. You need to decide if you can deal with that or not. OTA should be middle august

I think Microsoft changed the way they deliver the updates recently after portico..

it was Microsoft>> Manufacturer(Nokia)>> then Carriers to test >> then release.

Now its Microsoft >> Nokia>> Carriers >> Nokia >> then release.

I'm in NY as well, no luck on my 928 or 620 (flashed with GB Dev Rom). I think it depends on which product code the phone is, with some of the international roms being released.

Can we get a list going of product codes that have been updated?

Hi Guys,

I can confirm it is a genuine GDR2 update. Glance screen, Data sense etc are working.

A word of warning, if you upgrade your firmware using Nokia care suite or Nokia updater for retail, you will loose all your files and settings.

im updating my lumia 620 now through Nokia software updater for retail
sw version is 3046.0000.1329.2007

Uupdate available for lumia 620 India. Updating right now.
3046.0000.1329.2001
