If I update my phone using the software will I also lose downloaded maps? Don't really care about settings but 5gb of maps would be annoying to download again :-D

Yup. You'll lose everything. Its a clean install.

This will erase everything and install a fresh, new, updated, ROM.

If you wait for the OTA, the OTA is an update and you do not lose data.

Not to mention the ROMs out are not AT&T ROMs anyway, so might as well wait.

Yeah I've got CV_GB but flashed with EE ROM to get 4G. So I'm waiting for the EE ROM!

Anyone having an unbranded NL 820 from Germany [Product-Code: 059Q9L8], who has already flashed GDR2+Amber? My question: is Data Sense available?
BTW: It's showing up as software version 3047.0000.1328.3001 in NCS ;-)

Yup, 3047 seems to be GDR2+Amber as 3047.0000.1326.XXXX is GDR2+Amber for NL 920. I think, I'm going to flash it after the download has finished: 15% to go

Yes, Data Sense is available for unbranded 820's in Germany =) I will post a screenshot as prove in a few minutes.
