GDR3 battery life compared to GDR2: Better or worse?

Amber significantly improved my L820 battery life, but GDR3 seems to have worsen it. The battery had emptied from 85% to 20% or lower just sitting idle, with only the WiFi on, in about 7 hours. I was also using Tap to Wake and Glance Screen + Glance Beta App, but still.

On Amber, even without using the device, even with all the stuff on and at least 10h+ on WiFi at home and 2G connection on at all times, I would still get at least 1.5 days of usage at least. Now ... .

I need to see these days if the situation improves. Maybe it's just temporary. (if not I'll either get another 1800 mah battery or that beefy 3600 one)

Managed to get to the end of my battery problem. Apparently my email (gmail account) was constantly syncing. Managed to get that onto manual sync and battery life is great. Now I deleted the gmail account completely from my phone and battery is only down 21% in 7 hours. Might try add the gmail account again later on to check if it falls into the same loop. Coincidentally I had noted that data sense was marking gmail as the top data user (not at all normal with GDR2) since the GDR3 update so this constant syncing could have been going on since I updated. Only affected battery life for the past three days though.
