GDR3 on Huawei Ascend W1 (TracFone)

I have a Huawei W1 Tracfone branded and would like to know has anyone been successful in receiving GDR2 OTA or by flashing the GDR2 Europe ROM? If so were you able to get GDR3 Developer Preview afterwards and still get full 3G speeds etc.?

I updated my W1 myself to Western Europe ROM version 1030.5614.00000.06030.

Then I updated to GDR3, OS version 8.0.10512.142.

Since then, my phone works fine. I don't have DataSense but I have options to delete garbage from temp folders. 3G speeds are as before.

I live in Greece, my carrier is Vodafone.

Thanks for the response. This does reassure me that it is possible then to update the tracfone branded variant to GDR2 and GDR3. My only issue is that I remember flashing a Chinese GDR2 pre-release ROM and all worked fine but could not get 3G speeds at all because of the frequency difference being that AT&T uses 850/2100 MHz and the Chinese one being different. Do you think if I flash the Europe ROM I'll be able to still use 3G?

Today I have updated my unbranded phone via OTA in Italy. Try to wait another 1/2 weeks..

Buenos dias, me podrias decir como lo hiciste? mi problema es que tengo un huawei w1-u34 pero no termina de encender, es decir, no pasa del inicio de movistar, quisiera saber como hiciste para forzar la actualizacion, gracias de antemano.
