Hi guys

Wanted your thoughts whether to wait for 930 or buy 1520. I have no budget constraints only thing which bothers me of 1520 is the size. I go for running in the morning am not sure whether It feels comfortable over an armband. Also do you foresee any other advantages of 930 over 1520. Please advise

Under the hood they are pretty much the same taking from my knowledge of the Icon.

Size is the only major difference I see here.

The 930 is ugly and the battery is too small (assuming its the same as the icon) and the 1520 is too large. I'd go with neither. I have a 920 and for the past 3 weeks I've been using an LG G2. Battery life is amazing but the camera is terrible . I miss my 920,camera

Advs of 1520 over 930
1520 has glance, Icon doesn't (the 930 may not).
1520 has better battery life
(Personal) I find the larger size better for playing games, watching videos, reading stuff and all around goodness

Advs of 930(Icon) over 1520
Icon doesn't have the touch sensitivity
Some people prefer the smaller size

I think it depends on size and where you live. If you think 6" is too large, get the 930. If you live in the US and want LTE, get the ATT 1530. That's basically what it boils down to: availability and preference. Neither is better or worse.

I think the two things that sell me on the 1520 over the 930 would be the bigger battery (which I hope means longer battery life), and the presence of the Micro-SD card slot, since I'm a heavy storage user.

Right now, losing the Micro-SD slot would feel like a major step backwards for me, but if the 930 had one, it would probably be square on the top of my list (next to a 1520). While I love my 1520(s), its big disadvantage is that it's just a little too big to fit in a suit jacket pocket.

Kind of off topic, but still on-topic. I have a 1520, and i'm looking for a good armband to workout/cut the grass in while I listen to music. I've been searching online and can't seem to find a good one.. I had one like this for my 920 and it worked absolutely great.

Amazon.com: Philips DLV1004/17 Action Fit Sport Sleeve for MP3 & Mobile Phone, Black (S/M): Cell Phones & Accessories

Does anyone know of anything similar for the 1520?

How secure was the phone when it was in that? It looks like it could just slip out.

What about this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Bingsale-Ad...ag=hawk-future-21&ascsubtag=UUwpUvbUpU2523340

The one you had for your 920 looks good, better than the usual ones you see like the one I linked.
