Getting Started With Windows Phone

Hello Everyone,
Recently I have started to get a little annoyed with my Blackberry Torch 9810, it is a great phone overall and I would recommend it to some but I was ready for more apps and a slightly better ecosystem. I put the torch on crackberry hoping to trade it for an iphone 4, unfortunately I didn't get my wish, but I got a guy offering me a HTC HD7S so I decided to take him up on it. I should have the phone here with me by Wednesday-Thursday. So before I get it, I wanted to start looking at what I need to do to get started with Windows Phone? What are a few tips and tricks with the OS that I would love? What are some great apps that everyone likes? Is there anything that you do not like about Windows Phone? Basically anything that would help me pick up the device and get started with it.
