Gifs won't play on ie on wp8.1

Okay so I use 9gag frequently and previously had no problems playing gifs on mobile version of website. But now if I click it just opens the gif in the current tab, if I try to play the gif it just doesn't play.
Anyone else facing this problem?
Just give it a try, I'm using Lumia720.
Tried Rudy's app just find ie more convenient. And don't like using desktop version of site. Tried a soft reset, did a hard reset after installation as it is. Deleted browsing history, just nothing works.

Its really bugging me. Hope they fix it. Its just a step down from ie 10 if it doesn't simply play gifs :|

It works, but little slow only in 9gag,in other sites it works perfectly
