Glance clock rising?

This may be an odd question, but I just have to know; for those of you who have the Amber update, have you noticed that the glance clock slowly rises to the top of the screen when the phone is on the charger?

Of course, its not an issue, I just wanna know why it happens.

I have seen it. I just assumed it was to prevent burn in from the clock being illuminated in one spot for hours at a time

I am pretty sure when you have it set to "Timed" it will click up every minute, for the 15 minutes.

Well, the clock moves around when Glance is on, in order to prevent burn-in (people with Symbian^3 devices know about this).
