Glance "peek" setting

I keep my phone in my shirt or jacket pocket, and when it's on peek, just removing it triggers the glance screen every time. Wonderful. I do agree that more info, like notifications, would be nice. I'm sure we'll see it in the future. I have great faith in Nokia.

There are many reports mentioning that Peek Glance would show the clock and notification. But I never see any notification even I know there are new emails and messages arrived. I wonder if notifications is the next upgrade for Peek.

My peek setting or whatever has multiple darker spots on my phone. Is it of concerned?? Dead pixels??

Today at morning i received a Glance update and after that i see my Clock always displayed even if the settings is at peek ????

To get it, set the 'night mode' option on that glance setting screen to when you want it to appear red. Personally I think it looks really slick as red so I set it to start at 5:00am and end at 4:59am - i.e. always on.

If the phone is powered, glance will be displayed permanently.
When on battery and the screen is blank, wave and glance will "peek" itself.

Incidentally, the reverse does happen: When powered up and you wave, the screen goes blank. Antipeek. :smile:

You're not the only one. I've been reading about notifications on glance but even on my 925 and 920 there's none

Notifications don't come with Amber, that's something that's on the cards for GDR3/Windows. 8.1/Blue.

I just updated my 820 today and i have the glance screen set on peek and i have tried everything always on timed and the screen staus in blank someone tell me what is the problem please
