Hello I need a good gaming laptop for $1,000 or less. I was looking at an Asus for $1,300. I was considering it because of its specs and graphics card.

Can I get some suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

You could try alienware go on there website and you can configure the specs to the price that suitable.

Alienware Gaming Laptops

MSI do thin gaming laptops if your interested in a light portable laptop.

ASUS are pretty good as well.

I would suggest getting an i7 CPU, R9 290x or R9 280X and 8GB of RAM.

Or if you dont fancy a AMD 290X and want a nvidia graphics card go for a nvidia gtx 780 or 770.

Assuming you're in the US I would recommend looking at Sager laptops. You can spec them up as you wish and they are miles cheaper than Alienware or other brands. I live in the UK and got their 13.3" FHD laptop with an i7 4700MQ and a GTX765M for ?680 without an OS. In the US that will probably end up being somewhere in the $900-1000 region. Can get larger screens for similar prices too.
