Good place to get a replacement battery for Surface Pro 2?

Looking for a replacement battery for a Surface Pro 2 (1601) that went from fine to not taking a charge overnight.

I've looked on eBay, but it seems my options are a mix of used OEM and generics from China.

For those more familiar with batteries ... what likely the best way to go?

It sounds a really hard battery to replace, and even Microsoft themselves have no original replacement batteries - they just offer a discount towards another newer Surface.

Looks like generics from China may be the best option, but good luck with the repair itself!

The Surface line is generally exceedingly difficult to repair - the risk of damage and likely cost (and especially considering MS would rather sell you a refurbished unit) means you'll probably be better off getting another, easier to repair, computer. There are some alternatives out there.
