Greetings.
Is there any way to prevent Google Chrome from treating saved/created website desktop shortcuts as "installed apps"?
Every time I manually create a website desktop shortcut in Google Chrome, it automatically finds itself in the Programs and Features page of Windows Settings.
As a result of this behaviour I now have nearly 200 entries in my installed apps page. Over 80% of these are desktop shortcuts that I've created through Google Chrome.
I am totally perplexed as to why Chrome would do this.
Is there any way to put a stop to what this can certainly be called "strange" behaviour??
Please help with this frustrating issue.
