I just read over on wm poweruser that Pichai was the leading external candidate for CEO. I'm kind of thinking this would be a slick move by the board. Is this their way of getting closer to bringing google services onto our platform? BUT the post did mention that Pichai may opt to scrap WP for a proven market winner in android. I'm interested in what kind of changes he would bring if he was selected.

Not really. Pichai may not be used to the culture of Microsoft, and may be willing to make decisions that benefit Google instead of Microsoft.

He has expertise in the field, I'll give him that.
He just has to think that Microsoft != Google.

Click bait article if I ever saw one. And does anyone at MS really value google services so much they'd make such a decision? Seriously doubt it.

I don't believe the Microsoft board would select someone just to increase their chances of access to Google services. But then again, think what Nokia did with Stephen Elop...

Puff, Puff, Give.
Again, when you read stuff written by Surur and company on WMPU, leave reality at home. I think the site is trying to become The Onion.
