Hi All,

emailed Stephen Elop yesterday with all the issues i was facing at the moment with my L920 and to my surprise he replied apologising and promised me that his team will call me and will help me.

An hour later i get a call from the Nokia Care team willing to swap the handset for me.

WOW, now that is some awesome customer service (still annoyed with the blurry camera though :)).

Same happened to me with my Lumia 900. The sent me a replacement overnight and asked me to keep the one I had.

This is why I LOVE Nokia.

You'd never see this from other companies. Especially at such a busy time for them!

Yes and by doing that, they won me as a life-time customer probably and I had absolutely no problem shelling out $680 to buy the 920 unlocked from Rogers when they first launched them on Nov. 1st.

Loyalty goes both ways! ;)
 
Ah lucky you. I called Nokia about my phone being stuck on the Nokia boot screen and he had me do a soft reset and a hard reset and when neither of those worked said we'll I guess you should contact att and see if they'll replace it.

an update:

Spoke to Nokia Care today and ive been told a replacement black L920 is ready for me and it's fully tested. So when im ready to swap i need to call them. Woman promised me that all the issues im having will be fixed, do you think that includes the camera sharpness? (forgot to ask her)
 
So I went your route and emailed Stephen Elop as well, and got a quick response. They're overnighting me another Lumia and sending a return label for my messed up one. Yay!

No, it would not considering that is a software update and not a hardware quality issue. The sharpness is barely an issue IMO anyway.
