Hey everyone!

So yesterday I decided to get a surface pro 3, just for fun. My work has a great payment plan, I wont even notice the little bits off my cheques. I have a kickass gaming PC I built, not really sure what ill be doing with this beast. Was wanting to put a couple games on it. I don't have a keyboard cover YET... but I'm quickly realizing I was an ***** not to get one.

Anyone know of any PC games that you can get around with just touch/the pen?

Thanks! :)

congratulations on joining the Surface Cool People Club....I don't really play PC games so I can't recommend anything. But, I use my SP3 for everything else. I am loving the pen for notes and drawing.

Thanks! Super nice for drawing. I've installed Herod of the Storm on it, think maybe ill try out WoW on here, and a few other games. Working really well. Really loving this thing. Got myself a gorgeous cyan keyboard cover for it today :)

Welcome to the team :) Im in exactly the same boat, i bought my SP3 last summer just because.

It doesn't get as much use as I like as i have both a huge spec gaming laptop and a gaming rig but its a great toy! I currently use mine for taking part in the windows 10 insider program which just dropped an update today :).

I don't use my SUrface Pro 3 (i7, 256GB) for gaming at all... except WoW (as a backup to my Gaming PC).

This is what I can recommand for WoW setting on a Surface Pro 3 (i7):
- 1440x900 resolution (fullscreen!)
- no antialiasing
- no vertical sync
- low settings
- latest graphics drivers + firmware (Jan 2015)

with these settings WoW is really playable (30-60 fps)!
playing with "normal" groups works, but I didn't tried to play with raids (10-30 players).
I still have some thermal slowdowns, heat is still an issue (cpu + gpu reaching 90? Celsius!).

I have the i5 128 model, and I'm still finished setting it up, installing games, tuning, and just finished updating to technical preview build 10041. Diablo 3 plays great on medium, south park stick of truth runs perfect maxed, Herod of the Storm runs great on medium/high and that's about all I've tried so far and all of that was very brief. I've been working like mad and tomorrow is my first day off with it. Really pumped to play around with it! I've been also using it to stream movies and shows on while I fall asleep, used to use my desktop connected to a 40", however I have poor vision and even with glasses and at the distance I am falling a sleep I have trouble reading the menus and selecting shows. But no more with my Surface! :D
