Got all my text messages back

I just noticed that I have all my text messages back from way back when. I know it's been an issue for a while for everyone. Did anyone else get there's back?

Not weeks or months of time, this morning none, now 22,000 texts. Are you or anyone else getting them back? I'm just wondering if going into sim settings and pressing update settings button did anything. It says "Get the latest cellular settings from your mobile operator". I only discovered that I got my texts back because I was going to use contacts plus message backup settings app to backup some newer texts when it showed I had 20,000 texts to backup.

I updated the firmware on my 950XL dual-sim last Friday and just got my texts back last night. I didn't have too many (only back to mid-February, when I got my first Windows phone (L1320)).

Noticed this morning that mine have returned as well. I have done nothing. Did a hard reset on Sunday, and did not have all my texts then, had none after that, and only a handful since. This morning, they returned.

Mine too, so far tree copies is the most I've seen, and not every single one, seems to be in groups here and there.

Just got a 950XL DS and have received some of my texts overnight. Didnt restore from backup, moved from a 950XL

hoping ill get some more as the time passes.
