My Lumia 820's camera was working fine until i updated it to Black. The camera is showing grains/noise more than it should in low-light (at normal lighting its fine). But if i take a photo the output is almost preBlack standard quality. I tried hard reset which didn't work. Tried different apps, cant figure out what causing it.

Also i was wondering if overheating of the device (when playing games like asphalt for a long time) can affect camera hardware?

Perhaps have a look at the camera settings? It could be that after the update, all settings reverted to default. Perhaps?

Everything is set to default. But interestingly, in Nokia Camera app the shutter speed option has reduced from 4 second to 1 second also ISO is now showing up-to 1600.

This is good. It means they've cut back on over aggressive noise reduction. If you prefer blurred images, feel free to add further noise reduction during post processing, where it should happen.

The photos I take are fine. But there's a lot of noise at camera screen. Could this be a hardware problem?
