Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is here!!!!

Oh my god its finally out for WP. Definitely one of the biggest day for WP users. Its priced pretty high and requires 2.5GB of space. Damn it !!

Maybe 1GB ram & 1.5 GHz processor isn't enough. And i think 820 is there because of its 480p low resolution and 1320 for its 1.7 GHz processor.

It should be enough the PS2 only had 32MB RAM and the CPU was only 300Mhz lol

Edit: It's ?5.49 though. Will skip thanks.

How the hell is 1020 not supported with same CPU as other dual-core phones and 2GB of RAM??

920/925 is not on the supported list but people are playing on it. 1020 is also supported. Rockstar may have made a mistake in the description.

Looks like it runs well enough. I saw a 10 year old playing this on an small table at the airport just after Xmas. It looked like a 15fps mess. I can be sure of the tabel now but I think it was an iPad mini.

Please it came out, I am sure the file size is the same as other platforms. Shame it doesnt have Xbox branding.... but its such a key game that it is great to finaily have a big, big hitter on WP8.

Based on the screenshots and that video it looks like game is running on low or medium settings. And not in native 720p resolution.
Are there any graphics settings?

Look at the traffic on Max:

I would be interested in performance as well....using an HTC One at the moment which does not run this well apparently, want to go back to WP with a 925...can anyone confirm the settings and performance?

I wouldn't let ESRB make decisions about what I will or will not let my 10 year old play, I'd judge it myself. Probably wouldn't allow GTA yet at 10, maybe at 12 depending on the kid of course.

There are settings to change the display and performance. On my 928, it seems to run fine so far on the default settings, which look to be on the low/medium side of things. No shadows, low detail, low resolution and draw distance, etc.

Still looks pretty good all things considered, turning the shadow detail to high doesn't seem to slow it down too much. I hope to play with the settings to find a perfect middle ground after work today.

The 1320 is more powerful than the 920/1020 in every way possible except RAM(1020 wins). The CPU is basically a 1.7 GHz Snapdragon S4 just called the 400 and the GPU is an updated Adreno 305 vs the 225 in the 920/1020.
