I contacted Nokia about my AT&T WHITE 1520 having cell reception issues. Going from a dead zone to an area of coverage left my phone in a no service LOOP. The only way to fix was to restart the phone. I asked Nokia about the revision changes that were made for the Green variant. They gave me no information on what/if any changes were made. Does anyone know?

AFAIK, only difference for the AT&T 1520 in green (and I don't think that's a 1520.3) is that it ships with Windows Phone 8.1.

I considered that model, since I love the color, but I just wasn't willing to give up the Qi charging, so I bought an unlocked yellow 1520.3 from B&H Photo Video. Not cheap, but I don't have to deal with a contract or missing features.

They may never have shipped a green with WP8 but all colors ship with the same WP version so my new yellow 1520.3 came with 8.1. I think you are right that the only difference for the green and other 16GB AT&T 1520s is the color. I think I've seen backs for around $20 on eBay, so its not that expensive to change colors for someone who wants to.

1520.3 = RM-938 = Factory Unlocked for Latin America. It does not come in Green. That's an AT&T exclusive color, with AT&T exclusive halving of internal memory and AT&T exclusive gutting of Qi charging + AT&T exclusive put a jacket on it to wireless charge from a less prolific standard... So many AT&T exclusives it makes your head spin.

Congrats... I'm jealous of the Green. Would have been my first choice, but I'm on T-MoUS and it made more sense to get the .3. Got my second choice, Yellow, which looks quite nice as well, IMHO. But green has long been a favorite of mine.
