How would changing the chassis change the quality and durability of the phone? It takes less than 5 minutes to change and if your using the right tools it is pretty hard to do it wrong.

Well in that case I might just do it. Would doing this void my warranty?

This is for the upcoming Android based Nokia X2 phone. Nothing to do with green 1520's or anything WP based......

If you need to send the phone in for warranty work then just put the original chassis back on the phone.

To change it you need to remove both sim and sd card trays and remove the screw that under the IMEI sticker. What I did when I removed the sticker was I put it in a safe place instead of having to remove it every time I change the colour. That way if I need to send the phone in for repair I can stick the sticker back on.

There is now way for the repair centre to know that the chassis has been changed.

If you are doing it then use the new chassis to see where the tabs are to release it and make sure you put the separating tool between the rubber gasket and the chassis and not between the rubber and the glass.

Nice explanation, where does he get the tools? I think I have seen a particular plastic frame that goes around the glass, I remember the SD card slot and screw.

You don't need that frame thing, just get a tool sera off ebay that has a T3 Torx in it and some guitar picks which are great.
