Groove Music Is Being Stubborn

I'm having issues editing song and album information in Groove Music.
Changes I make are often reverted even though I've saved them (this happens between a fraction of a second and several seconds after saving).

Also, images aren't being displayed correctly after making changes to album information (this seems to always be the case after changing the image). At most a sixth of the actual image is shown - the rest consists of one colour.

I tried to get around these issues by editing the details of MP3 files, but that didn't work. Anyone know how to fix this?

Is this on PC or mobile? On mobile, Groove silently got the option to edit the metadata removed quietly. That was a shame.

Did you solve this? If you edit the song and album details using something like MP3Tag instead does Groove then update to see the new changes?

Yeah, I worked around it with MP3Tag, and now the app / music files are a bit less 'stubborn' when I try editing the details without MP3Tag, though the issue still happens occasionally when I edit without using MP3Tag.
