Half the screen has become corrupt, hardware or software problem?

picked up my phone earlier and noticed that half of the screen had become corrupt, did a soft reset and it rectified itself, shortly after it has done the same again but this time a soft reset didn't work.

has anyone else experience this?

Things to note, the phone has never been in water or had a significant drop and lives in a bumper case.

Currently running WDRT to see if this sorts it out.

*Update*

WDRT rolled back the phone but initially didn't fix the screen issue, during the setup process (with lots of blind touch typing) the screen came back, if buggy at first.

This is leading me to think this might be a hardware issue possibly down to the high humidity and having the phone in my pocket :/

def I would say it is a hardware problem... bring it in to MS for a replacement!

Very weird how it's split perfectly in half.
Anyway, I think too that the best solution is to request replacement/fix from the Assistance.

Took the phone in to CPW for a warranty repair, just gotta wait till the 2nd Sept to see what the problem was.

This just happened to me, this morning. Fortunately, I bought the Microsoft Complete replacement program. But I was curious to know what was the issue. Did you ever get your phone back?
