Hard reset and the SD card

So I'm in need of doing a hard reset on my 820... Something went wrong and I can't connect to LTE in areas where I'm supposed to and Drive+ hasn't given me a single voice direction since I installed 8.1.

That being said, I'm thinking of copying most of my important apps to the SD card, remove it, perform the reset and reinsert the card. My question is if I will have any kind of problem doing that, like malfunctioning apps, lost saves on games, etc.
