Hard reset/factory settings

question : my 8S is running GDR3, if I preform a hard reset, does it go back to GDR1-2 ?

i read this article : All you need to know about the Windows Phone 8.1 'Preview for Developers' | Windows Phone Central
they say you must have at least 1gb of free storage, and as we al know, 8S has a lack of memory :/

No, it doesn't remove the OS update. Only your apps and data.

Remember to connect to WiFi during setup of your phone to automatically install all the apps. Take screenshots of your Start Screen, upload pics and videos to OneDrive.
