Hard Reset?

So, I've updated to the new build. Should I do a hard reset to make sure everything is sitting right the way I've done with my phone??

If nothing happens and it is right then NO need to hard reset . Although hard reset fixes MOST of the problems when using W10TP if you run into one .

To be safe yes, you should hard reset.

I always hard reset and start as a new phone. Any other way hasn't worked for me.

Depends how hard it will be to get back to how you want it. Luckily, with WP, there's not a ton you can/need to customize. I generally would reset every major update, but if it's more trouble than it's worth (no noticeable issues) might pass on it.

With Build 10166 , I notice an issues where some settings went missing ( Touch - Double tap to wake ) after I hard reset . It is unavailable to download from Store even when using link from web .
I can only fix it temporarily by revert to 8.1 clean , get these systems app updated , go to w10 . It is still good since you did nothing . Still now i am unable to download all the Lumia collection .
