Hardware button colors

Anyone else notice the hardware home/back/search buttons seem yellow? Are they suppose to be white or is it suppose to be an odd yellow color?

Mine has slight yellow tint to it. I always thought that it is a color scheme to go with the color of the phone. I have a yellow 920

Well, I have a black 920, so it isn't a color scheme just seemed odd to me that it wasn't white.

My first Lumia 920 had white buttons, seemed like a nice blue hue to them. That one had problems though. My replacement from Nokia themselves, which is my current, has a yellow tint. It frustrates me every time I see it, even for such a small detail.

Mine appear to be white unless I am looking at it wrong.

I also have a black 920 and my buttons seem to have a yellowish tint to them. Although I was sure before they looked green to me.

It's because of the clearblack display, which polarizes the glass. The slight yellow tint is just a result of the polarization process.

from the second batch onwards at least for 920 they are tone down to mild yellow. An intentional change to make it easier for the eyes.

My first yellow 920 (from the very first batch) had a slight yellow tint to the buttons. My replacement yellow 920 (also from the first batch) has the same yellow tint. My wifes black 620 has a nice bluish tint to the buttons.
