Has any one noticed change in new gmail web app version for wp?

Hi,

I logged into my gmail(mobile version) from my wp8.1 device and i found look and feel has changed it is similar to what andriod devices have.

its much better than old basic html version.

Yes, this has been discussed on this site. It's to do with ie displaying web pages similar to the IPhone.
