Denim update for 635's today

Hi all
Have received denim update yesterday which included Cortana and I would like help to begin using this app correctly so any help would be appreciated if anyone has already begun using her.

That would take incredibly long posts. Go to Windows Central and search in the "How to" section. You can also go to YouTube and look at how to videos there.

how? Im on bell too but no update.. kinda feel like cheated when the ads for 635 on Microsoft store Canada clearly stated cortana as a feature

I just got the Canada unlocked 635 on sale. I don't see any updates.
Is this because I don't have a SIM? If I put in a Telus SIM, do I have to activate it?

I don't know if its been released, but regardless, it does not matter whether a SIM is in the device or not nor its activation status.

Rogers just pushed the update through yesterday noon. I was able to use Cortana back on Cyan if I chose the States as my region. Denim adds some polish and new features, like live folders. I wasn't expecting the update at all, so this was nice.

i did and still nothing... anyways.. the phone bricked when I put my sim card in when I updated to windows 10 on it just waiting for replacement not sure if I want to do windows 10 until its stable ...

With my old 920 i would change the language and region settings to USA in order to be able to use Cortana. After i received the denim update yesterday on my Rogers 635 i did the same thing but Cortana was telling me that due to my region and language settings she was not available. I then changed all the settings back to Canada and she is now working like a charm.
