Has anyone found a solution to the "unable to find a bootable option" error on the lumia 822?? other than sending it back to verizon that is. . .

Its such a rare occurrence and we don't have much leeway under the hood of Windows Phone for such a fix, I'm afraid sending it to Verizon or Nokia for service is the only way.

However, I don't have experience with such an issue. Potentially (sheer conjecture) you could try reflashing it using Nokia Care Suite (I think that's the name). I would probably try that first, making sure its the 822 ROM being loaded.

I have the same problem. And I heven't solved them jet.
I took my phone in repair. They tried to flash it by Flasher.
But phone doesn't work still...

Same problem here with a lumia 521. Tried Nokia care and recovery software and they do not recognize the phone at all.

Interesting, I thought it was limited to the 822. Yea, the software doesnt recognize it. I'm suspecting its the memory that has some how crashed. So I don't think it will be fixable.

I will ask around and see...I was not able to fix one using Nokia Care Suite....perhaps the old software where you can select a specific firmware file might work but I don't have the older software...

Tried to flash mine back to factory with , kept giving me '0xfa001106 signature check of FFU file fails. FFU file is not correctly signed or not signed for this device.

Do you for sure have the correct ROM downloaded? I only saw this error message when I was trying to flash an RM-914 ROM on my AT&T 520 (RM-915). I tried many different ways to get it to work but I couldn't.

I've tried all 3 roms that I've found for lumia 521... Do you think I'm getting this rom error because I upgraded to windows phone 8.1?

No its not a ROM issue, the problem is that the software can't recognize what phone it is, thus returns the error assuming its the wrong ROM.

I had the same problem with my phone last month, I had to get it replaced.

What happened to me was I was on the 6Snap app and messing around with that I pressed the home button and it took forever to go back to the start page so I locked my phone and unlocked it to see most of the tiles in my start menu missing. So I decided to take out the battery and restarted my phone and I got this error too.
