Has anyone had success with OS Yosemite?

From what I can see in the forum, it appears that no-one has successfully connected a Windows 8.1 phone to a Mac running Yosemite using the Windows phone app for Mac. I need to know if it's even possible. If not, I'll wait before upgrading to Yosemite.

The forum could be misleading as only folks that have problems could be posting. So here's my question - have you (or anyone you know) successfully got the Windows phone app to recognise your phone and transfer music, photos or files? Does the Nokia Photo transfer app work in Yosemite? If so, which phone and which version of Windows Mobile are you running?
