has anyone used the surface pro with the logitech docking station?

looking to possibly use this set up in a conference room but wanted to know if im limited to only using the skype app interface on the surface pro? or can i also mirror the desktop onto the monitor as well, allowing me to access the desktop? can anyone help with this question?

We have delivered many Skype Room system setups and yes it is possible to mirror your surface.
However the Skype app is a user so you do need to signout with admin password and sign in to another user.
Not av very smooth procedure but it can be done.
