Don't you just hate it when shows don't resume straight away especially Skype. It turned out the devs control whether apps resume fast or not. That was a terrible idea from Microsoft. Just look at the Skype app. So please vote here for a more fluid, seamless Windows Phone Make fast app resume mandatory – Feature Suggestions for Windows Phone
