Have older 1TB drive that's partitioned and want to migrate to 1TB M.2

and keep the same partitions. It's non OS TB and going to a Non OS SSD TB. I currently have a M.2 which doesn't allow me to use SATA 6. When I install the 1 TB M.2 in the second position I lose SATA 1. SATA 2-5 have SSD already installed.

Should I disconnect one of those off SATA 2-5 install the M.2 move the OLD TB off of SATA 1 and just copy files?
