Have you updated 930 to 8.1 update 1?

Just wondered if any of you have plunged in and updated your new 930 to the update 1 dp. If you have would like to know how its running and for the most part anything not working?

No issues yet, and yes - I suppose that reverting to Cyan is easy and viable option.

Cyan is the firmware/drivers with Windows Phone 8.1.
Only the Windows Phone part gets updated in Preview for Developers program.

So yes, it's Cyan (firmware/drivers) with newer version of Windows.

Since I updated, the animation of retiring to the start screen when I press the Windows button can be jerky most of the time. It's quite annoying, but only because I'm weird like that. There's no other issues I've found.

Lovely sorry for stupid questions ive just come from an 8x and never had to worry about Lumia updates. So you would recommend the update?

Yes. No issues whatsoever so far.

Some quick impressions

• Folders are very intuitive and well implemented.
• I might be mistaken, but I get the impression IE update has brought along a speed boost...

Hi All

I think there is a bug in IE. Maybe it depends on the website, For ex. golem.de
But after the update sometimes the back button doesn?t go back to the previous page, it just closes IE.
You can swift to the left. this works.

Yes if you are not happy with the update you can always use Nokia Care Suite to go back to your original rom.

Some HTML5 videos don't have play/pause or time bar, before it did on most

Have the update on my UK 930, seems great but has not helped with the heat in the lower right which still heats up way to much for light use.....

I'll give it a week or so and may have to return it to the Nokia centre to be looked at.

Other than that, I love the phone! Came from many iPhones and really enjoy using it.
