Have you updated to 8.1.1 on your Lumia 930?

Hello,

I bought NOKIA Lumia 930 from UAE Axiom, the new update 8.1.1 is not available for me for the region "United Arab Emirates" or even if I changed my region to United Kingdom!

So what about you? have you updated? If so, what's your region and variant? If not so, also please post your region and variant?

I am from Pakistan. My region is set to United States. My phone is 930 Orange unlocked.
OS Version: 8.10.12397.895
Firmware Version Number: 02061.00066.14252.51003

I have tried checking for updates and there is no update available. It currently is "up to date" as stated by checking. I hope the updates, whenever available, should solve the heating and battery draining issue :-/

But I had to disable PFD. I got the update ony after disabling it.

Yeah but it's not is it, as it includes some small firmware tweaks to Cyan. So maybe you need the Lol

Exactly... The SW is the same. The firmware isn't.

Nope! If you have PFD enabled you can't get the update! You need to disable the PFD in order to get it!

Just updated. Purple tint is now gone and the purple haze on the camera is not as pronounced as before.

Thanks I didn't know that, now how do I get this update? When I disable PFD and look for a new update I don't get anything...

I never had the inconsistent lighting so I cannot say.
But for the purple tint I am sure it doesn't have it anymore after updating. The tint was very distinct even when in fairly lit rooms when the screen dims, or even by pulling down the action center, or even by going to the xbox music with background artists having purple tint.
The purple hazing around the camera is also reduced, still there but not as strong as before. Although it is still noticeable in video mode.
