Having IE RAM problems?

IE in the latest build is the new big thing when it comes to RAM use. By that, I mean it has been quickly leaping to almost 1gb of RAM with 3-4 tabs open. I had been wondering what it was, and discovered my issues. I thought, foolishly, that leaving GPU rendering on was a good thing. Turns out that it isn't. So while it's still higher than I'd like, it's less than half of what it was before.

Also, speed hasn't gone down much (sometimes it has even gone up).

Does anyone know what might be causing this?

IE has been awful the last few weeks. But only on two sites. Newegg and WindowsCentral. This site crashes constantly on me. It happens no matter what my about:flags are set to.

And IE just caused a BSoD. :|

Part of me suspects an underlying issue where IE is a symptom.
My personal experience is that IE is a bit less tolerant when the environment is less-than-ideal than its compatriots.

Of course we can chalk it up to the technical preview gremlins, but maybe the error code can shine some light on it.

Could also be some Preview update oafishly breaking something.

I'd love to give you the error code, sir, but I can't. The blue screen looked messed up. And the other time it just sort of restarted without any error code.

There's always a dump file, I think, but I'm not quite sure what to do with it. I'm downloading a program to analyze it, then I'll likely post information from the file.

edit: The program doesn't seem to work on my version of Windows. Now I'm back to square one.

For the first week of this build i had no issues. Then it was awful for a bit. Today it seems to be running perfectly fine for some reason. Either way I hope they release a more stable build soon, along with SPARTIAN!!
