Having issue with whatsapp

I just signed-in in whatsapp and it says failed to load favourites and says there are no whatsapp contacts using whatsapp.. Tried deleting account,reinstall but nothing works.. Help..

You can't uninstall the app? And then install back?

Make sure that there is internet connectivity and that whatsapp is allowed to access your contacts

Using windows 10.. I did a reinstall but still facing the issue. I checked under settings>privacy>contacts and whatsapp is enabled to use my contacts already..

Nope.. Uninstall & reinstalled WhatsApp but to no avail. Even hard reset the phone twice.

Same here.. Mail them about the issue.. They will fix with an update
