Having reboot issues with your 950 XL?

I just received my Lumia 950 XL and have been going through it and enjoying it immensely except for the fact it would randomly reboot on me when I went to charge it. As long as I was interacting with the phone, it would be ok. When left to go to sleep and charge, it would reboot, so often in fact, that it would lock the device down and fail authentication. After numerous imaging from the Device recovery tool, I tried out my DT-910 wireless charger last night. Suffice to say, I won't be using that as my phone died charging on it and I missed an appointment this morning. Oh well, my fault. It did do one thing though. It totally drained the battery. I've now been charging the phone and not once has it rebooted. I'll keep monitoring it, but so far it hasn't rebooted which is about 8-12 reboots less than I normally would have had at this point. I do also have an SD card inserted, and still, no reboots. Glance screen is working correctly, no extra heat from the phone while charging. Things appear to be all good now.

Now...do I attempt installing Windows Insider and going for the freshest build? Haha, I dunno if I want to muck around now that it works correctly. Maybe others with the reboot issue can try this and report back? Cheers, and thanks for all the help in the forums!

I have the same issue man and you are the only other person I have seen that has this. Phone restarting while charging. I have searched the web to see if it is a defective phone but no one else has said anything about a similar or same issue. However my battery has died on me a couple of times but still when I put it to charge, once it boots up, the restarts start again, randomly. Like you said, if I use it, it doesn't restart. But as soon as I live it alone, it starts rebooting and also goes to that stage when it locks up. I have been patiently for the firmware update and for .36, but I'm running out of patience. Please let me know if yours has stopped restarting while charging.

Regards,
Francisco
