It should work if you use the AT&T Straight Talk but DON'T put the GoPhone sim into the phone.

Worked on Cricket for me so I think Straight Talk uses AT&T Towers so should be OK.

Yes it will work on Straight Talk . You just need to add the apn settings for Straight Talk.

I have a 520 gophone I use on Consumer Cellular and it works great.
Hmm, to wait for Black Friday or buy 640 now, at a good price.

It would be good to have a 2nd phone, I have a 520 and BLU WIN HD LTE phone. I'm using the
520 for the Windows 10 test phone, that way if problems arise on the 520, I still have the BLU phone
for my main phone. You may want to buy a SD card too.

What - it's too big? Comparing my brother's 640 to my 520, I agree it's going to take a little while to get used to the larger physical size but feel it'll be worth it. I haven't picked one up yet as I'm holding off in the hope of finding a Black Friday/Cyber Monday deal.

I have AT&T Lumia 640 4G in Orange network in Slovakia with no issues. LTE works fine, 60/12 Mbps up/down in area with good coverage. Fortunately, Orange uses LTE bands 3 and 7. Internet sharing and MMS are working too. No problem with unlock, just sent request via AT&T website and got unlock code within 2 hours.
