Heart Rate Monitor stopped, after charging it nothing works. Will Microsoft exchange it for me?

Heart Rate Monitor stopped

So yesterday the heart rate monitor on my band stopped when the battery died. After fully charged everything works but the HR monitor. I reset it and everything, nothing works.
I got it at Best Buy, but they won't exchange it. Do you think if I bring it to the Microsoft Store they will exchange it for me?

I called tech support, the very helpful guy took me through all the steps to reset it, I didn't have the heart to tell him I had done that already, he was really nice. When that didn't work he told me I could bring it to the store and they would replace it. I am so happy because I really do love my band,
