Heat/Discharge/Lag

Hi, since last week i've noticed sometimes when i unlock my 1520 starts to "load" desktop(also heats up), so i restart it to notice battery drain. I'm running WP8.1 Dev preview. Anyone has this kind of issue?

Do you have the Cortana live tile pinned to your start screen? If so, trying unpinning it and see if it happens again.
